Bedford, NY is approximately 90 minutes from Manhattan and 30 minutes from Greenwich, CT where many of you will be staying. Once you make it the Bedford / Greenwich area, you have several options to get around.
Shuttle Service
Round-trip shuttles will be provided on the wedding day for guests staying at the Hyatt Regency or the Delamar Hotel in Greenwich.
Ride-shares (IMPORTANT)
Ubers and Lyfts are very difficult to obtain *from* Bedford, NY due to limited cell phone service. Please consider this when relying on rideshare services as you will need to prearrange a pick-up with your driver prior to your drop-off.
Taxis + Private Car Services
Recommended providers include Blacklane, Mt. Kisco Taxi, and Ernie's Taxi.
Driving / Rental Car
If you plan to explore the area or prefer flexibility, renting a car may be a convenient option. Valet and self-parking will be available at the wedding venue.
Below are our two hotel options: the Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich and the Delamar in Greenwich. These hotels are approximately 10 minutes apart, 30 minutes from all weekend events in Bedford, and 75 minutes from Manhattan. Please review the section above for information transportation.
The Hyatt Regency in Old Greenwich is our official hotel for the weekend. It offers comfortable accommodations, great amenities, and convenient transportation to and from the wedding venue.
Looking for a bit more luxury? A fewer number of rooms are also available at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor in Greenwich, a stunning waterfront hotel with excellent amenities. Shuttle services will be provided from the Delamar as well.
Airports
The closest major airports are LGA and JFK (Queens, NY) and EWR (Newark, NJ). If you’ll be flying into one of these airports, here are a couple of options for getting to Greenwich and/or Bedford:
Uber / Lyft / Taxi
Ride-share services and taxis are readily available from all airports. Commute times are typically around 1 hour from LGA or JFK, and about 1.5 hours from EWR.
Rental Car
Renting a car for the weekend may be a convenient and cost-effective option for those who prefer flexibility and don't mind driving.
Train
If you prefer taking the train, you’ll first need to travel to Grand Central Station in Manhattan. From there, the closest MTA train stations to your final destination are Greenwich, Bedford Hills or Mt. Kisco.
Westchester County Airport (HPN)
Located just 20 minutes from Bedford and/or downtown Greenwich, HPN is also an option. However, it has limited flight availability and higher costs, making it less practical for most travelers.
